How do time zones affect Apex?
Unless a Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is clearly shown, all displayed and selectable times in the Apex web interface use the time zone of the logged-on user’s system. For example, logging in to Apex with a laptop means the Apex user interface uses the time zone of that laptop.
Consider this scenario: If you log on to
Apex using a computer located in Central Time, and a network event is occurring that same moment in Pacific Time, you could choose
This Hour for your
dashboard time (reporting period) in
Apex on your Central Time computer to see what is occurring right now in Pacific Time. The web interface performs all of the time zone conversions for you. Similarly, having the
Apex server located in a different time zone than the users logging on to it should not cause any issues.
