VoIP Packets Lost by Call
The number of VoIP packets lost during a particular call exceeds the threshold set in Expert Thresholds.
Possible reasons for this event:
♦link failure
♦router is using Random Early Detection (RED), which discards packets as its queue fills up in an attempt to trigger senders to reduce their window size
♦high rate of error on the media, such as Ethernet cable problems or wireless signal quality problems
