VoIP Active Lost Packets
The percentage of packets lost in currently active calls has exceeded threshold. Packet loss and jitter are highly correlated phenomenon, especially when congestion is the cause. In the case of packet loss, link failure can also be a cause. To diagnose and fix high packet loss, examine switches and routers along the voice path for the following problems:
High levels of congestion, especially if the packet loss is accompanied by jitter.
Link failure.
Ethernet problems, such as a bad cable or faulty interface.
